This tuesday we went over the broadcast terminology and its quite interesting. learning terms like sweeper, a spot and a dub. sweeper is like a mini commercial that would introduce a song or even the radio jock thats going on. A spot is ofcourse a commercial. A dub is a precorded commercial from an outside source. Also, learned what remotes are as well. Basically, having your station events at a public place. Started recording demo commercials with Jay. He's helping me out tremendously. Hopefully with practice i get better at it.
