A GREAT first day at Mountain Country 107.9FM! I shadowed and help co-host Dolan's Dugout with Steve Dolan during Session one. Tod Lenoard from the U-T San Diego joined us in the first segement to discuss the San Diego State basketball game versus Utah State and also discuss where the Aztecs rank as far it goes for their NCAA Tournament seeding.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Craig Elsten, the voice of the San Diego Sockers of the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL) who joined us to talk about the Sockers' 2013/14 regular season, which saw the team lose at home for the first time since 2009, leading to an 0-2 start that finished with a 13-3 regualr season record. Craig also chatted about the Sockers postseason road and previewed the SDSU/Utah State Basketball game.
"Rovering" Rick Hill then ended our guests block to talk about the local Prep Sports in San Diego, specifaclly the Basketball postseason, and also chatted about Baseball Spring Training and the "experts" preseason picks and the previewing the Padres 2014 season.
