Session #3 Recap: 3/18 Posted on 2014-03-21 by Callan McClurg

It was GREAT and productive night on The Steve Dolan Show this past Tuesday night on Mountain Country 107.9FM, as Steve let me co-host the entire show with him once again. Cameron Weaver, our College Basketball Insider stopped by to offer his inside on the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament, how many brackets on average he fills out every March, his inside on how far San Diego State will go in this years's tournament and which teams are feeling the heat of pressure this year.

I conducted my first full length interview with Daniel Arellano, a former high school baseball teammate who had to overcome a rare disorder at a young age to get back on the baseball field, where he excelled at Kearny High School, en route to signing a letter of intent to Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, CO, where he's a Pitcher and studying  Construction Management.

Our on the move reporter Rick Hill wrapped up our guest block with a discussion about the University of San Diego Men's Basketball, who according to sources "BOUGHT" their way into a postseason tournament, which cost the University a whooping #36,000 to host ONE home game! We wrapped our visit with Rick talking NFL Free Agency and Padres Baseball.

We wrapped up the show with a scoreboard update from MLB Spring Training, NBA & NHL. Steve and I then wrapped up the show with a conversation about March Madness, and a few off the wall sports topics, including the legendary rock band KISS purchasing a pro football team in the Arena Football League, and also a little bit about Magic Johnson purchasing the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks.
