Hey Everyone!

I'm super excited that I have a new computer.  My last computer caught a virus and I've been without one seems like forever now.  May it rest in peace.  Now I'm back on and I'm ready to put my new Macbook Pro to good use.  I'm a little behind the times so it is indeed a learning curve to master both my computer and Protools, but I'm excited about the learning opportunity.  Last week in the studio we went over how to record an actual mono voice recording in Protools.  I was facinated to say the least.  Protools and Engineering is completely new for me like I'm starting with absolutely 0 experience.  So for me learning the basics and how they are all working together is interesting and informative.  I must admit Protools can look a bit scary and ovewhelming, but I'm going to master this thing one day (baby steps).  I don't know what I'm going to do with myself when I actually create my very own track from start to finish all by myself.  Luckily I live in New Orleans so some of the local musicians have been giving me some tips also and that's been great.  I find that I have a better understanding the more I hear different explanations about a topic from various engineers.  I'm really enjoying this program!!
