I'm so sad that this course is over.  I feel like I'm just starting to make sense of what I've learned and I wish I had some more time to practice.  For me this experience has been a real mental challenge.  Mainly because I was starting from ground zero.  I had absolutely NO experience at all whatsoever.  Every topic, concept, shortcut etc was all new to me.  Not to mention my hp laptop broke midway through the course and so I had an opportunity to upgrade to a mac laptop (call me behind times but a sista was on a budget).  So for me everything is new this laptop, protools, engineering everything.  So there were times that I thought how in the world am I going to learn all of this stuff.  I would love to just sit and intern with a really cool engineer somewhere and work with them until I'm as great as Drake's engineer 40 (he's my engineer icon).

I'm thankful for everyone of the trainers that I got to meet and work with at the Marigny Recording Studio.  They're such an awesome group of people.  I still want to learn more, I'm still hungry for more practice.  I just want to be great.  I wish I could close my eyes and open them and be great lol.  Thank you recording connection for offering such a dope program and for linking me up with some really great people right in my city!

I'm looking forward to the future!
