Hey y'all! I'm very excited to see where my work and decitation to my dreams take me and of course that process includes the radio connection! I completed my first lesson last Friday the 10th of February. The lesson basically recapped what I mostly knew about but to get freshed is never a waste of time. The lesson included how radio evolved during the early 1800's and kept changing as time went on! I really enjoyed the lesson and what it taught me honestly, I look forward to the following lessons to come! Meeting my mentor for the first time was very cool, she has been in the industry for years and she knows a lot! Already I have observed and learned so much from the equipement such as the mixer to the mic! She's now teaching me about broadcasting and how back in the 1900's their was no tv so the radio enforced laws to protect peoples lives being that they were killing thierselves due to them listening to the show cn the radio in the middle of the show! I'm so honored to learn from Mrs. Renee and look forward to further information!! I'm enjoying myself at the radio station and think it' an honor to work with the females that I'm learning from! I can't wait to be able to switch up my regular voice to a professional voice when I go on air, I'm learning so much so far and can't wait to learn even more everyday! This is my first blog at 1:00pm to 1:19pm on February 15th 2017.
