Today is my day of studies! It has been five months since I first joined the Radio Connection and over the phone we discussed this being a six month to one year program! Well, after five months, I am now finished with chapter eight! That feels wonderful, but I want to do better! Which is why today is the day of studies! This chapter discussed commercial writing. I have been doing a lot of production work at KSHP AM1400 and currently have multiple spots running through the program log. I've written/recorded/produced spots for local restaurants and shows here in Las Vegas and have even done a Dodger's Baseball bumper. Commercial production has become my favorite thing to work on! Writing is a gift of mine and the software has been easy to grasp. I use Goldwave to do the audio recording and to record the music from the internet . After editing is complete, the files are put into Audacity where the voice and music recording are combined to make one file . The final products hace all turned out incredibly and are ready to be heard on the air or at my soundcloud!
