Well I know I have been lagging a bit on my blogs, but now I'm going to get everyone caught up to this point and stay consistent after this. So my first few visits to Fishbowl Radio Network were awesome. Although I wasn't doing any intern work yet, I was still given my own weekly radio show. It is an entertainment/talk show every Friday from 3p.m.-5p.m., called The Kevin Clark Radio Show, dealing with news, sports,  and other current events, with a little music thrown in too. After my first few weeks I began to come in a few hours before my radio show and do intern work. While it does consist of getting coffee and lunch, it is much more then a regular intern would do. I am learning the computer system and SAM Broadcaster, as well as the encoding systems. I've also begun to meet the other show host, who are also deeply involved in the radio business, and all of them have been super friendly and at times, helpful. Sammi has been an excellent teacher thus far and as helped me improve with my training while giving me key points and spots to work on according to the assignment or topic at hand. Sadly she has been sick so while my radio show and intern work continue, my schooling has stopped. Although I have gotten word that she is doing better and we will be continuing with schooling next Friday. So with Friday quickly approaching I cant wait to continue on with my schooling, as well as my radio show.
