I've had a great time hanging out with the station this past week. I haven't blogged had as much as I should be. But I'm putting my home up on the market and it's a lot of work. Last week, I kept recording commercials and show promo's to sound more professional (I'm getting better!) but am still have to do a lot of editing to make it sound airable lol. I also learned what goes in to putting a show together for a week. This week they did a dating game type of thing with an employee of our station. It was hilarious and I got to see how they planned that and be a part of it by filming it. I've been really enjoying my time hanging out at the station. I am still on Assignemnt 5 and working on putting different styles of shows together (talk, sports and music) and and finding that fascinating. I'm getting better working with the adobe audition software and getting better with my on air professional voice. I do vocal excercises and one thing my mentor told me that I remember is that he doesn't drinking really cold water because it hurts the voice. So I've been trying to protect my pipes. But I had a lot of fun last week, and look forward to perfect my craft.
