Yep, so this last last week, I practiced producing commericals. got my first on air experience at the station, and did Assiignment 11 New Broadcasting and Copy writing. I found it pretty difficult to read through the 5 minute news segment through without making mistakes. I prefer to write my own segments, I also really like doing post editing on the segments. It's fun and I get to use my creativity. My first on air experience at the station was a success as the host put me to talk about a topic for a segment on his afternoon show. He seemed to reallly like it. I wasn't nervous as I have done some radio before...but I felt like my improv background really helped playoff the host. I did get to practice hosting a show with my another student there and I felt like we really clicked. I am continuing to practice to reading commercials and vocals so my voice can be more radio friendly. I have really enjoyed the last few weeks at the station.
